Connected to God and His people.

At The Bridge we desire to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God. You will also find people that are passionate about God, and passionate about His church.

Consumed with God and His purpose.

We believe in true disciples. We want every person, young and old, to have a life altering encounter with God, and begin to learn how to live out of that place of being consumed by God. We help people understand God’s purpose for His church and His purpose for our lives.

Commissioned by God as His representatives.

As you become a true disciple, understanding the Kingdom of God, you become ready to represent, have influence, to transform the world around you. Transformed lives, transformed families, transformed churches, transformed communities, transformed world!

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Meadow Lake Bridge Ministries based on the foundational truths taught in the bible.  All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

God

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Jesus

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, is the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and is God’s Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s Kingdom on earth. He is the visible image of the invisible God. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today, in the presence of God the Father and in His people. He is “true God” and “true man.”

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit, convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister super-naturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is subsequent to salvation with the sign of speaking in tongues and is the power of God to be His witnesses.

Mankind

Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.

The Fall

We believe humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

Salvation

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

The Church

We believe the Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, discipling the nations, baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.

The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

Resurrection

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth. We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming bride – His church. Heaven and hell are real places and the final destination of all mankind. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.
